Aditya Birla Capital has promoted Darshana Shah to the new role of Head, Marketing and Customer Experience at the company.
Shah joined Aditya Birla Capital as Executive Vice-President – Digital, Marketing and Customer Experience 6 years ago.
Her previous role involved leading the Product, Channel and Digital Marketing, Digital Innovations and Business – complete Digital Assets/platforms from design, delivery and adoption for Applications, Websites, Whatsapp, Chatbot, Ebot, Health and Wellness Ecosystem Digital partners and overall Digitisation of the organisation and adoption, Customer Experience, Customer Service, and corporate communications for both Health insurance and Wellness business.
Updating the development on LinkedIn, she wrote, “Never did I ever imagine of leading a brand, marketing and CX of this large NBFC who have welcomed me as an outsider to be a part of its health insurance business 6.5 years back and now gave me the opportunity of leading from the top.”
Before joining Aditya Birla Capital, she was Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Visual Merchandising at Hyper City Retail. Prior to that, she has been General Manager-Marketing Communications at Reliance Retail.
In the past, she has also worked at Future Group, Shoppers Stop, NIIT and Boston Software & Technologies.
After finishing graduation in Science, Shah pursued an MBA degree in Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
In 2022, she also completed the Senior Leadership Executive Leadership Program, Business Administration and Management, General from Harvard Business School.
