MISSISSAUGA, Ontario–()–PointClickCare Technologies, a leading healthcare technology platform enabling meaningful collaboration and access to real‐time insights, announces the appointment of Annie McBride as Chief Marketing Officer. Annie is a tenured marketing executive and product leader with over 20 years’ experience in digital agency, marketing and strategy, consumer brand management, medical device and healthcare informatics and SaaS product management. Annie joined PointClickCare’s executive leadership team as their first CMO with plans to deliver on the strategy by bringing best-in-class voice of customer focus, data driven insights, innovative marketing technology and collaboration models that will enable marketing to serve as an engine of growth and market development across the Senior Care, Acute and Payer industries.

“I am grateful for the support of Dave, Julieann and the Board and their vision for what the Marketing discipline can contribute towards the growth, trajectory and maturity of the organization. I am passionate about the power of the intersection of healthcare and technology and how at this point, we can solve complex customer challenges, meaningfully improve quality of care delivered and equip providers with the right information at the right time in the right care setting to result in better outcomes for the person who needs it most, the patient,” says McBride. “I’m excited to be a part of a company, a culture and a mission that will enable us to materially transform how healthcare is delivered.”
McBride most recently served as VP North America Marketing of the Sleep & Respiratory Care business at ResMed Inc., a publicly held global medical technology company focused on the treatment of Sleep Apnea, and other chronic respiratory conditions. During her time at ResMed, McBride worked to deliver on the $2B North America revenue portfolio including healthcare technology, data integrations, patient applications, interfaces and connected devices. In her 10 years with ResMed she also drove the transformation of the medical device business in building a SaaS portfolio through acquisition as the VP M&A and Strategy for SaaS. Prior to joining ResMed in 2012 McBride leveraged her digital marketing agency experience and MBA to hone her strength and passion in product management across consumer and medical industries in global markets. In addition to her role at ResMed, McBride served on the Board of Directors for Xealth, a digital health prescribing platform company serving many of the largest healthcare systems across the U.S.
“Annie is vehement about improving how healthcare is delivered through innovative technology, about women in leadership and in diversity of thought, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our executive team,” said Dave Wessinger, CEO and co-Founder at PointClickCare. “This role is a critical component of our ability to drive the change that will transform healthcare across the continuum and the industry overall, and Annie’s commercial strategy expertise combined with years of product life cycle management will inform her approach to compelling and creative programs and partnerships that will ensure we continue to realize our mission.”
